Word Wonder (“the App”) is a spelling-practice app for children, published by Lubo Shang and distributed through the Apple App Store. By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.
The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Your licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies in full unless we publish a custom agreement in its place. In short: you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, and you may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute it.
Word Wonder is free to download and start. Word Wonder Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, which unlocks unlimited practice, Boss Fights and smart review. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers.
All purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are administered by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue them directly. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The App is designed for children and rated 4+. It contains no advertising, no links out to other websites, and no way for a child to communicate with other users. Where a child is using the App, a parent or guardian is responsible for agreeing to these terms, for the device the App runs on, and for any purchase made through it.
The word library, level bands and learning material in the App are prepared with reference to published spelling curricula and word-frequency data. They are offered as practice material only. The App is not a test-preparation course, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination board or assessment provider, and no particular examination result, grade, rank or award is promised or implied by using it.
Photographs you take inside the App to check handwritten spelling are processed on your device to read the words on the page. Profile and progress data belong to you and stay on your device, and in your own private iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
We may add, change or remove features, and we may update or discontinue the App. We aim to keep the App working as described, but it is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The current version is always available at this address.
